In Your Arms - Poem by Shauna Stoltz

When I talk to you
my knees get weak
whenever I see you
I dare not blink

when I'm in your arms
I feel so safe
when you hold me
I'm on cloud nine

when we hold hands
my stomach gets knots
why is this happening
why can't I fight this

I'll do anything for you
just to hear you say
I love you as you
hold me in your arms

in your arms
I know I'm safe from harm
in your arms
I can relax knowing I'm safe

It's hard to explain
so I hope you can tell
how I feel about you
to tell you the truth I love you
