Is It You're Day Today?

Vitamins and minerals
Flowing through the air
Everything is rhythmical
Body's in repair

Genuine but strenuous
The cars are whizzing by
Anything is topical
So bad you want to fly

Mirrors shining through and through
But two and one makes two, that's two

Waking up in hospital
Nurses taking care
Feeling philosophical
And radically aware

There is nothing in the way
I wonder how he's feeling
Today

Looking on the computers
As Brain juice is diluted
Waiting for the name to call
Avoiding many brawls

Green sign looms
Big green sign looms
Big green sign looms onward
Is it your day today?

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

Whate'er we leave to God, God does,
And blesses us;
The work we choose should be our own,
God leaves alone.
