Is It Poetry (1958 - / Bus-Boys And Poets, Washington D.C.)
...................Land of, 'My Doctor
This land of, 'My Doctor
She is, of what I spoke to you about last night.
She is domestic and olive leaves forgiven
can it seem, I knew this naught until.
She is his and the tiny scar upon her knee
the left the pumps she wears,
this is his dream a Doctor he Has both as well.
She sees you as you see her seeing both a single eye.
Soon where she must go and speaking thus of trust
this land of ancient tongues, where even he once great
passed through to find the unknown world, remade.
Upon her left hand is a diamond that is large and bright
representing bonds of trust that can not be unmade.
While on her right a ring of many eyes that glitters when
she turns around
perhaps she knows which of the two by what they represent.
She is life for many more, more than life she holds the door
for those from whence she came to know them more.
And Kanaan is a land of milk and honey, 'Mouna has
the eyes that see the waves on distant land locked shores,
and because they have become
both families are now greater than the gufs great human sea.
