Let Me Dream

Close my eyes And let me be lost in my dreams
Let my mind take me away
Let the lucid visions sway
And let me write reams and reams

It's your heart, that I deem
Your eyes, which I dream
Your name, what I scream
All but your light, I dim

let there be silence
And let me hymn
Let me get caught in this whim
And in my desires let me swim and swim

Can't you see
You hold the key
To set my thoughts free
Thy emotions to scree
And thy mind to glee

Let me dream and dream
Let me write ream over ream

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
