Letter to God

Dear God

You created garden beautiful Eden garden
Without forgiving you thrown us out
You asked us to go and multiply
Where is the food for all of us now?

You created beautiful earth and
Hidden lot of treasures for us
We are fighting for oil, gold, and uranium
Why you put such things under the earth?

We know that you helped the kings
To rule according to your wish
Our mindless leaders are declaring wars
Not taking care of the poor and nations
It is the time for you to come and rule
We can’t wait no longer please come and rule

You created nice sunset and sunrise
You created time for each season
We last our valuable time for our selfish needs
Please teach us good time management skills

You give nice fruits and vegetables
We are abusing them by cooking too much
We are abusing ourselves by eating too much
Please teach us on how to eat healthy

You created woman for man
Asked us to become one flesh and live happily
Government is granting same sex marriages
Protect our humanity from such junk ideas

Protect us from all anxieties
Protect us from injustice
Protect us from feminine
Protect us from natural calamities
Protect us from evil

You are my father
Am I your son?
I am, without you how can I exist?
By praying and praying
I am feeling like a beggar
Why should I beg my father?
Please grant us peace with love

I cried and cried for your help
My tears are dried. So confused
Protect us from hunger, sleeplessness
Fear and a big list of all evils

The way my daughter asking me for favors
I am asking you for all the favors

Amen

The old year went, and the new returned, in the withering weeks of drought,
The cheque was spent that the shearer earned,
and the sheds were all cut out;
