Life versus Suicide// Side By Side

Life ////////////////////////////////////Suicide
I am on a quest //////////////////////// I am down fallen today
To capture the heart of love /////////// Frowns seeking my art
I seek all that is best //////////////// Can't hide my dismay
Earth below, heaven above ////////////// My soul beneath my heart

These two domains ////////////////////// Too late, too little
Frame my distance ///////////////////// Can't cheer my fiddle
And what remains /////////////////////// Tired strings brittle broken
Beyond my existence /////////////////////Used their last token

Shortest path first ///////No free rides, but high cliff dives
Went to a church //////////Into the edge of utter despair
Candle-lights burst //////Morbidity blast blind eyes
Aiding my search ///////// Fate bleeds me dry it does not care

The smell of scent /////////////////////My last light is done
Flickering flames /////////////////////I am but a forgotten song
Heavenly sent //////////////////////////Darkness for the next run
Each prayer claims /////////////////////Mercurochrome so long

On my knees I knelt //////////////Their path lay clear to me
Alone in solitude ////////////////Teasdale, Path, Wolf and Hemingway
His Peace I felt //////////////// Pills, a gun, a river to be
Humbling my attitude //////////// My sure means to their highway

How does He feel? ////////////Flow of Sorrows Rivers my tears
A nail in each hand //////////Don't cry for me my dear
Is that for real? ////////////Last words motions set in high gears
To free the land /////////////Take me away from living hell frontiers

He died and risen ////////Please do not toss me a church
Gould I do the same //////A mosque, a temple or your morsel chapel
Forget my prison //////// While into my limbo expert advises dapple
My jailer's name /////////Dust to dust to death I perch I search

Who dies for me? ///////// My end I seek the fastest route
Could I do the same? //////No meds, no intervention can ease my pain
Set others free ////////// To bare my soul, extinguish my drought
From laden shame ///////// Eternal winter reigns my terrain

On to a modest mosque /////Enough! Enough! For not being tough
Open doors to me //////////How can you walk in my shoes
Kneeling on arabesque //// Cheap Advise from fanatic religious cuff
I truly felt free /////// How to strain when not addicted to booze

Allah spoke to me //// One-coin two sides in life
Through his orator ////I never judge which toss results
My heaven's keys ///// All other's joy to my strife
Blessed by his curator /Hell's fury my life consults

Love founded my milieu ////////////// Despair in search of my milieu
In a Synagogue and Hindu temple /////It founded shelter in my temple
To doubts about heaven I say adieu //Pain replaced my joy ‘s adieu
To life I'm god's new disciple //////In suicide I am Judas disciple

Conclusion in free verse

Duality of life ingrained in all of us, some fair better than others, some days up
Some days down, some of us cannot but be down, is it genetic? Is it spiritual warfare? If you are a believer, what if you are not? that is the hallmark of our humanity, the message I leave you is to be tolerant to other's- Joy's versus Pains-, we never know what fate has in stall for us, if your faith guides your being to super immunity, I salute you wholeheartedly, I on the other hand acknowledge the frailly of the human condition, best rule to live by is to love unconditionally and do not pass judgments on the miseries or creeds of others!

Thing again
Do not Judge
Pure rains
Does not purify sludge

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
