Love

Love
A lingering emotion
Infecting the deepest abysses
Of the human heart
Unscaped by the forces of time
As she hold her forte
As the priestess of the heart’s temple
To perpetuate deep-rooted affection
To an individual life form
To sculpt on the murals of the heart
An eternal inscription of a transcendent force
Spanning the nexus
From the spring of youth to the fading senescence
To hold a queen on her throne
An ageless beauty to the beholding eyes
Chiseled in the folios of the heart
Narrated by the voices of the soul
To bequeath on man
The truest sense of completion
Filling the void of one’s nucleus
With a miraculous moisture
Holding the heart captive
To an unequivocal sensation
Love

poet William Butler Yeats

WINE comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;
That's all we shall know for truth
Before we grow old and die.
