Love Sonnet 136: 'Those Aspects Of You Which Have Me Engrossed' - Poem by Reyvrex Questor Reyes

Those aspects of you which have me engrossed,
Might to some be not so worthy of note,
For from other blooms these have also glossed,
And to them would, a mere copy connote;
The profound way that charm of yours exudes,
To those, who through preconceived norms would peep,
Will mean nothing, as each of them concludes
With age-old lore that beauty is skin-deep;
Pity the moon, who just the ocean skims,
Not privy to the sights, lovely, within,
As soul glows, while the outer woman dims,
With the skin beauty that oft becomes thin;
.....Thus, to behold not with the seeing eyes,
.....Needs a heart that feels what the sight denies.
