Do you remember the old woman that lived in a shoe? Well she said to her husband “There’s something I want to tell you.” And then she continued, “I love you of course, But I have decided I want a divorce. Then I can find another Spouse, One who owns a proper house. Because of this shoe I’ve had enough, I want a place with rooms and stuff. And although I try to keep it clean Is a shoe the best place to consider hygiene. Considering all the kids we’ve got, And let’s be honest we have got a lot. In fact here’s something I’ve never told you, We’ve got so many I don’t know what to do.”
“Well I’m telling you now” Her husband replied “If you’re going to leave my feelings I won’t hide. All those kids you can take them with you If you don’t know what to do with them, then I won’t have a clue. Then in my Shoe I can live in peace.” The old woman was surprised to hear him say this. “Fine I’ll take them if they drive you round the bend. And you can see them every other weekend.” So she packed their bags and left that night To find something better and that smelt alright. And now they’re divorced and there is something you should know She’s now the old lady who lives in a bungalow. But unfortunately this doesn’t sound as good. So no rhyme will be written about her living in this neighbourhood.
