My Angelic 'Mother'

As I put my head on your lap
You caress my hair,
Lost myself in
your gentle touch,
My love for you grows more
Love, the love
I do not desire to share

You are like the sun
Of the morning
Welcoming me with
Your warm embrace
You are like the full moon
By a delightful night
Keeping me Placid,
Glimmering my face

Though, we battle with
Our colloquy swords
Though, we disharmonize
You approach me,
With your
Anchored, adept, affable mind
Implanting morals inside me,
Authentic, Noble and kind

Forever, having
Absent-minded smile
On Your Face
Laughing, making me laugh
Though, my blooper
Fetches the Dilemma
Molding our life tough
You always laugh,
You make me laugh

The truth, You are a mirror
A Clarion, classy mirror
Where I can see through
For me You sacrificed
Fortune, Fascination and fame
Everything but truth
You are only capable of love,
And love is all you See
In your eyes I can see
The real me

You had dreams,
Beautiful dreams indeed
Unfortunate,
Don't know what they were
Have no clue
You say, only one dream
You should know
The dream which came true
The dream of you

You kept me warm,
Warm in the Winter
You still keep
My heart is warmed inside
You are an open book
As I go ahead, each word
Untouched and Compelling
Though it is not the end,
It would never end
Cause you are
High as the sky
And wide

They say, -
I am a god sent to earth-
HE Gifted me my life-
True so true, -
God gave me birth-
My Angelic mother -,
You gave me birth-

I asked some brilliant poets on this site a Question, I asked them to tell me what is the most lovable thing they love about their mother..And as i say how brilliant they are..They are kind too they did not hesitate to share their thoughts with me and giving it some of their precious time….I really want to say thank you so much to all of you. I read your poems and they are ‘perfect' everyone is so different from each other and so different way of expressing their feelings in their poems which is just incredible ……even though they have included me have different thoughts about many things but when its comes to our mother we come to only one point ' I love my mother' I guess we all do

Sajna Kailas (trivandrum, kerala India; Female; 19) : Let me tell about my mom. OMG, I can write a big book about her. She is awesome. I think almost all mothers are like this.
we r five children. I am the only daughter for my mom. the four others are Boys. two brthrs r elder 4 me and two r younger to me.

the way my mom care us is incredible. her life is dedicated to us. her happiness, sorow, world, joy everything is related to us.
my school, my temple, my church, my teacher, my sister, my friend, my world everything is my mom.

she first Introduced the world to me. she taught me good things. she is not caring of what dress she is wearing, or what food she is take or what about her health but she is very caring of these things when it is upon with me.

without her I cant think a life. She is a life itself. Giving light to our home. some times a hitler when ruling our home. But that is very cute.
my mom the best. the ever beautiful and courageous I ever saw in my Life.
She is my role model and my heroine

I wonder how I missed this great work undertaken by a young girl! You have put all the elders to shame! What we failed to accomplish in a life time, you have done presumably within a short time! How much I yearned to express what all I have felt for my mother, but couldn't while she was alive which found a belated expression through my poem The Drop of a Feather! A mother is one who will never desert us, even if the whole world sacks us! She is there in life and beyond to nurture us and smile on the trifles of achievement and sigh over the simplest of our blemishes and aches! Payal.. this has left you so endearing to me! ! Kudos! !
