My God is not your God

My God is not Your God.

My God has no name,
My God has no face.
My God has no place,
For my God is a disgrace.

My God has no heart,
My God has no soul.
My God has no help,
Except for The Devil.

My God is an idiot,
My God isn’t real.
My God is my Lord;
This isn’t how I feel.

My God I hate you,
My God I need you.
My God why can’t you hear me?
My God where are you?

My God is inside of me,
I am my own God.
I am all I could have been;
I am just enough.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
