My Lady My Love Ii - Poem by Abubakar Abdulkadir

Say something that sooth my soul
That i may indeed shield in it
My breakable brow
In these seasons of hell-sun

You are the lone tree
Blooming in my deserted hearth
And i be the indwelling refugee
Of your coddling shade

My lady my shade
My lady my aid
