new horizons

end of an era
end to an age
so full of meaning
on every page
look in the corners
and fall of the edge
not understanding
one word Ive said
caught up in logic
well i dont make sense
when i dont want to
no need to repent
for I do not wrong
if at all possible
ill keep on writing
though it seems illogical
Im on the up now
ride it with a snile
soak every moment
make it worth the while
following instinct
wont lead me awry
cant be held back now
flying so high
curtains may fall
from time to time
its not the end now
that weve said goodbye
the dawn is breaking
feeling so new
wish that I knew
what I was to do
follow my gut now
just as before
written my story
to settle the score
when Im on fire
I cannot be stopped
like it or leave it
ill still rise on top
i can controll me
better than ever
its like now Im ready
for any endevour
time to be clever
like never before
take on the world
whatevers in store

the aqua man brings
meaning to existance
on every stream
that my boats sailing
for I am the captain
no matter the obstacle
I will make it happen
end to an era
Ive filled up the pages
two words do describe me
always courageous
pushed out the doubt now
remember this face
off on a journey
into a new age

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Your hands lie open in the long fresh grass, --
The finger-points look through like rosy blooms:
Your eyes smile peace. The pasture gleams and glooms
