Tiger Lily

No Other

When I kiss your mouth
A bitten fruit that stains
My lips a crimson red
The grainy pulp, your taste remains

It reminds me there's no other
You are the missing piece
I am drunk on your wine
Without your love I grieve

I let you inside and offer a taste
Of what I've hidden undercover
Please end your cruelty, love
Tip the flask, let your cup runneth over

Poet's Notes about The Poem

'Under a silver moon,
Tropical temperature
I feel my lotus bloom
Come closer
I want your energy,
I want your aura
You are my destiny,
My mantra'

poet Ambrose Bierce

Weather
by Ambrose Bierce

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,
And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be--
Dead and damned and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth,
