# on the threshold of the divine

when we looked at each other
for the first time that nth part of
moment froze in the eternity
of my personal cosmos…

the divinely ordained connect
knitted us as naturally as it
alone can in the mysterious
scheme of things beyond…

in that private garden of god
we wandered and giggled
as freely and innocently as
children alone can…

till we slipped into a
childlike slumber
in each other’s arms to
wake up into a world anew…
