Only you

you're the best thing
that's ever happened to me
at first I'd always wonder
how can this be

this is the happiest I've been
in such a long time
because now I can say
that you are mine

so long I've searched
for the perfect man
someone who'd be
my biggest fan

but little did I know
we'd meet so soon
and share the perfect kiss
under the bright new moon

I felt the electricity
as the rain came down
that from this moment on
you'd never let me frown

now that it's been
one full year
I can't help myself
but to shed a tear

you've made me so happy
and it means so much
that now I can say
I love you a whole bunch

I want to spend
the rest of my life with you
so my answer will be yes
when you ask me to say 'I Do.'
