Over your dead body

Escaping the sun
I closed my bloodshot eyes
And made my way to cemetery

I made a deal with the devil
That I will sit beside your dead body
Till I have spent all my tears
And conquered all my fears

Over your dead body
I saw passer-bys moan over lost ones
Some stayed with the spirit for a while
Others turned back and never looked behind

I prayed for your peace
I prayed for your liberty
And all the things you couldn't find
Will accompany you in afterlife
