Revolutionary Dreams

The start is just the beginning
but the finish is not the end
I’m willing to fight
will you give me a helping hand

Our revenge is to live
and to reveal this lie
Don’t be afraid my son
the truth will never die

In my mind
there’s a war going on
and in my heart
lies a ticking bomb

Don’t let your heart
break by cold ideas
Don’t let your tears
wash away by the sea

Let’s change the future and forget the past
Our time for change has come at last
Tear down these walls and free your mind
Let’s build the dreams we’ve left behind

Only hope can make you dream, and only a dream can change this world…

    Dear Michiel,
Never ever give up your dream to change the world
So many 'adults' will tell you you are naieve and not realistic
They are the ones who are unrealistic and dying prematurely
Keep dreaming, live your fight, live your dreams
A single person can make a big change
and if everyone who ever dreamt of changing the world
would have kept believing in the change
the world woudl be very different by now.
Keep writing. You are doing a wonderful job to write poetry in English.
