Sad Rivulets

Will you sing again
of sad rivulets
so I can find the comfort
under the velvet mist?

Will you write again
of sad rivulets
so I can trace the color
of poignant doors?

Will you sing again
of sad rivulets
so I can carry my flame
behind these hills?

Will you write again
of sad rivulets
so I can sleep
and borrow some peace?

poet William Wordsworth

I AM not One who much or oft delight
To season my fireside with personal talk.--
