Samurai Miyamoto

’Orda mısın
sisli dağların yalnız aslanı
kükrediğin yerdeyim
belimde tahta bir kılıç
kızarıyor bastığım topraklar
sake yangınlarında içimi yakan sarnıç’

rüzgar’dan hızlı kınında
Ay’dan beyaz ölümün dişleri
beyhude bir yağmur çiseler
eteğinde Fuji Yama’nın
çekip alır gözlerin’den sürmeyi

disiplin teninde çelikten gömlek
omzunda bushido’nun zafer izleri
bileğinden pazar olmuş hayatlar
kabirlerin’den eser katana kavisleri

iki eliyle kavrayıp hafifliğini hayatın
savruldu yıldızlara çekik gözleri
yaslıydı ayakucunda kızıldeniz
düştü hançeresinden
aldığı son nefesi...

"Heaven"—is what I cannot reach!
The Apple on the Tree—
Provided it do hopeless—hang—
That—"Heaven" is—to Me!
