Seizing the Moment

Show me something I didn't already know.....
Or do you think everything's about you?
Games........ played......
I'm for real but those who fake
Only borrow from another's life

Same here......framed.....
His paranoid feelings after me named
I don't want someone who doesn't want me
On my way.....still.....
And all the visions used to help me up that hill
Are not the prize I grab once I am there

To soften the blows and comfort when you bleed
I'm not above holding onto dreams that get me through
Wise words.....seered.....
By the one from whom my path was cleared
'Don't give up just do what you have to do.'
Sometimes I walk the line but I'm not breaking the rules

Just bent the rule if you can do it to serve a better purpose at times, but do not break it to cause chaos! (Report) Reply

Duty is as not breaking any overt rules. Sad for covert, hidden rules only in the heart. A sensitive poem. I am looking forward to reading more. (Report) Reply

To reap its scanty corn,
What mystic fruit his acres yield
At midnight and at morn?

In the long sunny afternoon,
