Simple Harmony - Poem by Richard Allen Beevor

Lost in pools of the night,
fearful of the spirit light,
will it come up or stay down.

Death arrives in simple letters,
chained in symbols of loves fetters,
will time shine peace around.

Given up the heart for you,
nothing heartfelt can come through,
last the pace for each day.

Stand in doorways of harmony,
play the chords to beauties symphony,
restrained every word to say.

Grey the haze of cloud and dream,
a piercing cry, a lover's scream.

Give me golden light in which to die,
give me love to embrace you
in a forest green,
wind sigh.
