Sitting by The Couch on The Floor over There

He sat by the couch on the floor over there,
I sat by the table in a cute little chair,
he told me 'come down here, babe.'
so i moved,
and I sat by the couch on the floor over there,

we sat by the couch on the floor over there,
he left to eat diner with the family,
and I stayed by the couch on the floor over there,
he waved and he said 'I love you lots'
I nodded and stayed by the couch on the floor over there,

He stopped halfway out the door,
and looked back to see,
just me,
sitting by the couch on the floor right here.

I'd rather call him "Star."
It's very mean of Science
To go and interfere!

I slew a worm the other day—
