Sleep Deprivation - Poem by nighttime daydreamer

insomnia insomnia
why do you love to bite?
insomnia insomnia
I give in without a fight
so scared to dream
I get so stuck
like a light
that wont turn off
insomnia insomnia
why cant I do without?

my body's sore
my eyes so heavy
melatonin floods
my petty levee
giving nightmares
that shake me up
scared of dreaming
and cant wake up
I need to sleep
I want to rest
lack of sleep
that rips my chest
insomnia, not fond of ya
go on till I black out
please have mercy on me
insomniatic disease
