Some Folks
Some folks measure a man by his looks,
Others by his pocket book,
Some by the way he stands,
Or if his hand shake is firm they boast,
That's a man.
Some folks say a man can look you
Right in the eye and if he can't
They say he is sly.
Some folks say watch his stride
And if his steps are long, in him
Truth abides.
I say measure a man by something you
Cannot see...
That inner quality.
