Stop Playing The Victim

A few people running around
Can’t help thinking to myself
What is wrong with these people?
They see nothing wrong in blaming others for something- anything
In hopes of seeing no fault in themselves
If every misfortune is someone else's fault
Then what part do you play in your own life?
It’s exceedingly irritating when people say these things
I can barely contain my revulsion
At this world’s preposterous events
I'm stuck in deep hell hole underground
I don't know how to get out of this mess
That I constantly ask myself
Why life doesn't come with an instruction book
There’s no point in blaming the uncontrollable factors
For what is wrong in your life
This is an image you created for yourself because
The world does not work according to your beliefs
And life does not coincide with your plans
Everything is created within your own realization
No one controls your actions, your thoughts, and your patterns?
Stop playing the victim

I have no reason left to pretend
I’m skeptical about these statements
My downfall was the lack of good parents to guide me through
Sometimes we attribute what happens to us
Everything we blame in others
is something within us we don't want to face
Trying to blame others to put off your sins
So that they don't have to be confronted
I think you've probably lost your mind
It’s unnerving to track down your failures
And blame them on your parents
You can’t live your live questioning yourself
On what they did or didn't do for you
Do right and make up for what's gone before

I just can't find it in myself
Can’t find myself in that situation of making excuses
It makes me want to bang my head on the wall
When someone complains
I was ready to do whatever I needed
To make things happen
But I was dead wrong to fall for the wrong friends
Standing before God you will give an account for your life
Not for somebody else's life
Most challenging choices in life are not between what's right and what's wrong
What should have- must have- would have and could have been
A bad decision doesn't make you a bad a person
Put yourself down by blaming your lack of ability for your misfortunes
And try bringing out the best in you at your worst
Start being the solution
And stop being the victim

Feelings of anger and sadness quickly follow
When they don't feel in control of their own lives
Have extreme difficulty acknowledging personal weaknesses
Seriously just listening to them
I lose my cool
The great love that deeply danced in my heart
Shadowed what judgment I had at life
I have nothing left to live for. No nothing
If I knew what was going to happen
I would have the courage to work things out
Even through the most traumatic things
Too late, I couldn't do anything about it
There are always some factors we can't control
Just because fate doesn't deal you the right cards
Do not mean throwing caution to the wind
There’s a light at the end of the tunnel
Life is too short, just breathe
Finally, when the curtains close
Nobody will know how and when it suddenly ends
Take full accountability for yours actions
The way we are thinking does not line up with God’s plans for us
Stop playing the victim
