Tempered Perfection

It was God's greatest gift

'Imperfection'

something God does lack

But in his image
we stand
imperfect

and in the

'unification'
of the perfect
and the imperfect

'tempered Perfection

Well written verses adressing a difficult life question. The why of our imperfection is often put forward but the differences we experience among each other, the imperfections we see in ourselves and in others form a strong basis for a purpose of life and a purpose is the basis of peace of mind and happiness.
Wow I experience a train of thoughts after reading this very interesting poem. (Report) Reply

I agree with Heather! Imperfect is the new perfect! I am not religious but if God is perfection, then when we experience things as perfect, it is our perception! I think that 'God' is in us all so a little bit of perfect in amongst all our imperfections makes for tempered imperfection? X (Report) Reply

God is perfect and man, though created in his image is imperfect. Therefore a mix of perfection and imperfection is tempered prfection! Wonderful! ! (Report) Reply

Perfection, imperfection, tempered perfection - three sides of the triangle, or trinity if you prefer. (Report) Reply

What is perfect to classify others as imperfect? It is our perception of separating the species based on the same qualities and how many percent of each species has acquired such qualities. So God is not imperfect to create something imperfect and to Him it may be very perfect based on the karma each one carries with their souls... (Report) Reply

Imperfection is in every creation, so there is variety. So, the earth is so beautiful! (Report) Reply

a well written thought provoking write..of course we are imperfect..but you know if God wanted everyone and everything, could have been made perfect..just like he placed the earth in the perfect orbit around the sun, to sustain life..any closer or farther away then we wouldn't be here.. :) (Report) Reply
