Treasure Island

Mike Acker

The Bliss

your sparkling eyes
a spirit aglow
your crimson lips
warm kisses will flow
your wind blown hair
early spring's foretold
your heart your heart
my pot of lover's gold

your warm embrace
time will surely slow
long evening walks
your hand in mine I stow
your presence
my peaceful state
what soul your soul
my eternal mate

your needs in love
I will tend to first
if and when we part
for your company I shall thirst
you laugh and the little girl
within will show
the bliss my bliss
will overflow

My favorite part....your heart my pot of lover's gold. Mike this is beautifully touching; and here I thought you only spoke in riddles ;)
A woman longs for these words from a heart that truly means it....such beautiful words (Report) Reply
