The child of knowledge

The need for speed had us darkly betrayed
a sacrifice laid upon the asphalt,
it was the child of knowledge that swayed,
and from thine arms fell off - cause of drunk malt.

The child of truth abandoned fell off our Kawasaki,
he broke his leg wickedly, society is gawky!

I didn't blame thee, for being offhanded,
as with thy left held a slice of pizza,
and tried to keep our child single-handed,
- the pizza man was an evil creature.

Inactive was my brain because that slice,
was the single left from a large special,
two six-packs left us in a grim demise,
that slice-taste was extraterrestrial.

The child of truth abandoned fell off our Kawasaki,
he broke his leg wickedly, society is gawky!

The pizza tantalized thus, our taste buds;
upon the saddle to reach three hundred,
predestined was cause of Milwaukee suds,
the child of truth to be Ninja-stranded.

The child of truth abandoned fell off our Kawasaki,
he broke his leg wickedly, society is gawky!

The child of truth abandoned fell off our Kawasaki,
he broke his leg wickedly, society is gawky!

Poem of the Day

poet Christopher Marlowe

It lies not in our power to love or hate,
For will in us is overruled by fate.
When two are stripped, long ere the course begin,
We wish that one should love, the other win;
