The Effects of My Poems

I wish I could write a poem about laughter and joy
Or the happiness of a kid getting a new toy
I wish I could make the reader smile
Even if it was only for just a while
I wish you could show one of my poems to your friend and say
My poems made your day
I wish my poems would go down in history
That they all have a sort of mystery
That each tells their own story
That they will be passed down with glory
But I can't get a poems format right
My poems can also not visualize a good sight
But either way
I do pray
That my poems will be passed down
That when people read my work either smile or frown
Pen and paper are my minions
Each person has their own opinions
