The Eternity of a Sunset
I gaze into the eternity of a sunset
So it just seems
How reassuring to be
For billions of years
Yet disconcerting nevertheless
How complete
Finality eventually is
Except for perhaps
The lunatic in us all
And that lunacy
Is all that's real
And it's laughing far beyond
Eternity
Before any star
And beyond
Midnights Voice
