The First Day of Summer

It is June twenty first
The year of two thousands and nine
The sun rises early
The sun sets late
It is the longest day of the year
for the people in upper hemisphere.
It is fun time
It is jolly time
It is time for summer recess
and vacations
The beaches are fabulous,
so the mountains and lakes
Have family picnics
and barbeques.
Join the friends
Enjoy the warm days of summer
it is a wonderful part of the year
