the hunt

My walls have fallen
Crashing down
I am naked
Helpless against you

What will you do?
There are two sides to you
My body shakes in fear
I am your prey

You draw closer
Fangs barred
You jump
Ready to strike

I stand frozen
Ready for death
A tear falls from my cheek
Time unending

A splash ends silence
You hold your prey
Calming the poor beast
No blood spilled

my cup I asked the moon

and mine in the wine cup, just
