'The Ladder Called Life'

life is what you make out of it,
revel in, its every single bit,
but to end up at life's crest,
you definitely got to give your best..
so conjure up the spark within you,
for ahead in line aren't very few,
but never let any snag to cause a cripple,
and ever in life learn to be supple..
the globe will size you by what you create,
but its you, who resolves your fate,
so believe that you are a miracle,
and soon would you be at the pinnacle! !

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
