The Last Tear - Poem by Danielle Dessels

The last tear
a silent fear,
a known longing
that you were near

The last tear
bundled in my eye,
sliding down my face,
so wet yet so dry

The last tear
I'm still weeping,
all those emotions creeping

The last tear
my eyes are red,
as my pillow soaks the tears
when I lay in bed

The last tear
the torment is over,
blowing my snotty nose,
I know I still love,
but there's still my cover..

The last tear
my head pounds,
all the emotions that bounds

The last tear
taking over my soul,
only Jesus can fill that hole

The last tear
a silent fear,
a known longing
that you were near

I can feel your sadness in the poem. Good effort. (Report) Reply
