The Name Of The Game - Poem by Joe Allen

You've got to love the war
If you don't have to fight
Hear the guns a roaring
On the tv news at night

A cowards confident smile
While the funds keep rolling in
With your soldiers forced to kill
The game is fixed-it's yours to win

I can't believe that evil dwells
So vile-still so proud
To kill all souls of innocence
In agony, they cry out loud...
