This Love

Moments felt close to you, l feel l am yours forever
For truly l know how it feels like to hold you
Tugging gentle, l am a willing prisoner to your heart and self
I used to walk on a path of fear
Always by my side you remained,
Ready to guide me on my way
We have been apart for so many times
I would keep your memory in my mind,
And, it would bring you closer to me
Can t you tell from the look from my face?
I have no regrets of knowing you
Memories that we shared will forever hold us
The first time you took my hand,
I understood you wanted to be more than just my man,
You wanted to share my ups and downs
My thoughts are all of you
When l gaze into your eyes, l see love
You touch still makes me shiver
Today when l woke up,
I thought l saw you next to me,
Then l realized it was my heart showing me where you belong
Pure and innocent is our love and,
Has played alongside millions of lovers,
To make a song that builds all our memories
As our love holds us together.

Poem of the Day

poet William Butler Yeats

WINE comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;
That's all we shall know for truth
Before we grow old and die.
I lift the glass to my mouth,
