To the dancer

I dreamt about you, dancing
swaying across the fields
where the white dreams are also chanting
their wispy soongs upon the deep
and I am awestruck
silent as the grave
an artist held captive by a slave
a slave to the muses and their music
to rythms and this rhyme
oh dancer, with your wings spread
Dance...
dance...
dance...
across the fields of time.
