True Pain

What do I do With the pain you caused me

It's not just emotional or mental

It's physical too

From my head to my toes

Inside and out

I can't breath when I think of you

Every memory passes by

With every beat of my heart

One by one

It makes me want to scream

I want to say i hate you

But truth is i don't

I still love you

Who have I become

This is not me

I fell so hard

I gave you all of me

Now all that's left

Is an empty shell of my former self

Covered in bittersweet memories

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I wrote this after my boyfriend dumped me his reasons why are complicated. But extremely painful none the less, he completely shattered my heart to the point thinking of him, seeing his picture, or hearing certain songs cause me pain of all kinds.
It feels like getting the wind knocked out of you but the pain it doesn't go away.

M.L.C. You may have broken my heart but when i said Forever and Always and how i would wait forever and a day for you i meant it.

I will forever love you.....
