Unconscious Thou Art - Poem by Ellirie Aviles

At night the city's beauty arise
The colourful lights from buildings
The twinkling of the stars above
was in sync with people's dreaming

The enchanting call of restaurants
And the Quezon city Circle
A place to find all things you need
a blessing, a miracle

A small but huge city in two aspects
Yet unperfect as it is
Full of agony & destruction
How ironic was its bliss

Merry, merry unconscious thou art
Laws were made and be broken
aye! see the land with thine heart
and hear its torments yet unspoken.
