Waiting For Tears Poem by Akhtar Jawad

Waiting For Tears

Rating: 4.6

My pain is yet to be melted,
At the moment it's confined,
In a heart that is still hopeful.

My hope is still alive,
At the moment eclipse is not full,
I can still see my face.

My face although a full moon,
At the moment appears a crescent,
No light, having no charms!

My charms that I saved from the devil of age,
At the moment are overshadowed,
I shall wait for the time.

My time changes like changing of weathers,
At the moment I'm burnt in a heat stroke,
But I see the clouds that are followed by rains.

My rains will come with the melting of pain,
At the moment my pain could not shake my heart,
Give more pain to this ignorant obstinate.

My obstinate eyes that dream of peace,
At the moment can see the bloody proxy wars,
I want to wash my blood with tears.

Let us all hope that the pain of heart melts away and is replaced with joy and happiness. A soulful write.

You are greatly grieved by the horror and violence all around and wish to give your grief laden heart a cathartic release through shedding tears of blood! Very powerful write!
