What I Do For My Country

I will sacrifice my summers
I will sacrifice my freedoms

All to hold the title US Marine
A Marine I will be all hours of the day

Even in the trenches on some distant day
To fight for my country and protect others freedoms

Against all the oppressors who seem like demons
I will sacrifice leisure times with my friends

Only to take up arms and prepare to defend
One day I may even sacrifice my love

But I know that she will live to love
I sacrifice all this to boast “ Semper Fi Do Or Die.”
