Words Don't Come Easy (and they don't say enough) Poem by Colin Coplin

Beauty has always
Captured the eye
You are the beauty
That will never die

Words don't come easy
They don't say enough
I wish I were an artist
I’d carve you in wood

Is this love
Is this love
When your young and confused
Is this love

And I love you
Yes I love you
How else can I tell you
I love you
I can't find the words in my head

Beauty has always
Captured the eye
I look for beauty
Each day I’m alive

I see it in people
I see it in life
I see it in nature
I’m glad I’m alive

Is this love
Is this love
When your young and confused
Is this love

And I love you
Yes I love you
How else can I tell you
I love you
I can't find the words in my head

Beauty has always
Captured the eye
You are the beauty
That will never die

Words don’t come easy
I’ve laboured for years
Great works are stolen
And hidden from tears

Is this love
Is this love
When your young and confused
Is this love

And I love you
Yes I love you
How else can I tell you
I love you
I can't find the words in my head
