Your Legend

I have not learned
To make metal birds
But i've known yet
The best of all
To be called an hero

I have not learned
To save the world
From gory fists of aliens
But i've known yet
The supreme of all
To be called be legend

I have known
To make my angel smile
Because i've discovered
The spice of her mirth

Sleep deep milady
I know to keep neat
Your night from vamps
Wandering with straws
So our dreams could breathe
Into a sound reality

Trust me with your night
And sleep deep my belle
For i am your legend
Bred in your love planet

Poem of the Day

poet Alfred Edward Housman

The time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.
