Aware, very aware,
In every muscle you feel eyes searching,
watching,
waiting.
Heart beats faster,
try not to turn around,
try to not care,
not working.
The excitement must be palpable,
surely everyone can hear it,
feel it, smell it.
A tap on the shoulder,
breath on the nape,
and the trick is done,
surely the trick is done.
Open eyes,
breathe slowly,
flick hair,
notice.
Shake it,
shake it like you need to,
shake it like it is just you,
hear it, feel it,
love it, embrace it.
