My Way To The Grave
Like a meteor in the sky,
You came,
Flying right into my life,
And, out of it in no time.
Turning in moments,
Moments too brief,
My life, forever a celebration,
Into a dark shadow of grief.
But, missed, you shall not be,
My dear,
For, there burns in my self,
A flickering flame,
That keeps me sane,
And,
That makes this wreck exhale and inhale
As I dig my own grave,
With an epitaph that reads,
“ONE WHO LOVETH FOREVER”
