The Mountain And The Wind Poem by Alokendra MITRA

The Mountain And The Wind

The mountain
mocks the wind.

The frail wind - perfervid, persistent
One gentle breeze at a time,
Assails it.

Torment
Each moment to the next,
Aeons.

The mountain - once mighty and haughty,
now shorn of arrogance
The frail wind
At peace,
Lovers.

Interesting.., sometimes those gigantic, arrogant mountains or people who are too self-centred find no time to love, whereas, the 'meek and weak' find tender love... Thank you for sharing...
