not a great deal
but just enough
to serve as a constant reminder.

though I don't think she knew it.
She was a bit of an enigma

Like most people, I like my music
From people like Hendrix to 'Morning' by Grieg
Like the stones and the floyd and the Human League.

Gaze up towards
the pale blue sky
and mourn for the
deep blue days of Summer.

Make the most of every day.
Take heed of the words good people say.
Take heed and carry the words with you.
Most of all, do what good people do.

The Mitchell Hill heights
saw some terrible sights,
with suicide and murders,
some terrible weekend nights.

It was Wednesday when I met her.
I was picking up my sister from her work.
My sister worked as an assistant in a hairdressing salon,
she came along, I was going to dropp her at her house.

It is still a cold January,
but it won't be long
until summer comes along.
