I adore Beatrix Potter! I read all of her stories as a child in my public school's library. I loved her beautiful pictures and stories and grew into an adult who believes that animals have thoughts and feelings and lives and communicate with and care about one another. I admire Beatrix Potter and I thank her for adding so much joy to my childhood (and adulthood!) .

We Have A Little Garden

WE have a little garden,
A garden of our own,
And every day we water there
The seeds that we have sown.

WE love our little garden,
And tend it with such care,
You will not find a faced leaf
Or blighted blossom there.
