Bianca Fiechter Poems

Cool crisp unmowed
Emerald green grass
Too sharp to tickle
Too soft to itch.
...

Feeling invisible,
I take a deep breath,
Puff out my chest,
And ego.
...

Upon awakening I crave you.
Forgoing all others,
I am drawn.
I curse the night
...

Of deception it was born.
Bred from the coupling of
Betrayal and blind faith.
Stillborn, wearing the unmistakable
...

I want to believe,
Really.
But,
There's this little monster,
...

I hear your voice
While I know you are so far,
For a tiny moment ... I am where you are
...

The seventh of May
The sky is rippled
Potato chip clouds.
Proud soldiers marching
...

Just a quick glance over my shoulder,
I can't look too long at it.
There comes that sinking feeling in my gut,
The clutching galloping in my chest,
...

You are there,
I know it,
I feel you,
Sense you
...

O2 whirlpools in
(maybe once a breath you left)
Invisible tour bus in my brain
Rolling bumping through my lungs
...

Bianca Fiechter Biography

Some time in high school I started getting the urge to write. Often the words wanted to emerge in the form of *poetry*. I love poetry, all kinds, but I'm not educated in all the proper forms, rhyming or syllabic timing. I write what comes into my head as IT dictates to me how it should sound. Is it correct? I don't know. Sometimes I think it is better that way.)

The Best Poem Of Bianca Fiechter

Slow Turn

Cool crisp unmowed
Emerald green grass
Too sharp to tickle
Too soft to itch.

Waves of sound
Translate into
Sensual language.

Skin awash in
Gooseflesh
Tiny puckers reaching
Stretching searching for
Warmth, touch.

Eyes open wider
Seek color, activity
A new perspective.

The mind soothed
Of it’s savagery
If only for the momentary,
Brief respite
